The stories are mainly told through entries in a common journal they share. It's a unique way of telling a story. At first I was skeptical, but Janet Tronstad makes it work.

Josey's husband drags her back to Russia after he gets a job with a company that's attempting to build small businesses to improve the economy in Moscow. Chase and Josey are the most heartwarming fictional couple ever. Even though they've been best friends since kindergarten, they don't make a smooth transition into married life.

Set in my home state of Wisconsin, Springer brings to life small town stories in fairy tale style.
