Donald Wilcox
Donald J. Wilcox (1938-1991) was a professor of history at the University of New Hampshire, specializing in Renaissance history. He joined the faculty at the university in 1970 and later was the history department's director of graduate studies (1973-79) and department chairman (1982-85). Earlier, he was a member of the Harvard University faculty. Wilcox was born in Putnam, CT, and graduated from Wesleyan University in 1961. He received a doctorate in history from Harvard in 1967.
