Very Helpful
This book was everything I had hoped it would be. It has straightforward drawings and easy to follow instructions. It covers the "basics" of wire making. If you are unclear about a few basic steps, this will answer your questions. Covers everything from types of wire, tools, care, to using mandrels & wire jigs. The pictures are large and very detailed containing tips throughout. It will NOT take the place of an in-depth manual on wire making. This is only a pocket guide to jog your memory.

Really Great little resource
I went to the bookstore for another book and ran across this one I love it, I used it 2 days later and it taught me a few techniques that I have not done or done very well before. It's a very good step by step of how to do some wirework. I have purchased ( on amazon) some design books on wire and other techniques and while they have some amazing projects this one will help get a good foundation for any of the rest that you will get. They have a great section about tools, wire, care etc and also a section on using a wire jig!
Love it and plan on getting more on things I want to learn on different subjects. Great buy, Great resource you will not be sorry!

Visuals are super!
The visuals in this book are very clear and instructive. They are the closest thing to having a live class instructor in the room with you. There are several jewelry making techniques shown along with tools that I had no idea existed! Images are very clear and instructive on which tools to use for different applications. The book discusses basic design considerations such as color harmony, weight, texture, proportion and motif and pattern. It discusses a range of jewelry-making techniques from beginning to advanced and using wire, macrame, and weaving. This book will become a resource to be used over and over again during the jewelry-making process. Your imagination will be the only thing that stands the way of making fabulous art!
