crimping iron
this is a decent iron and crimps fine to normal hair well. i haven't tried it on corse or hard to style hair.

the iron takes about 15 minutes to heat completely. the plate hosting plastic is not completely comfortable to hold onto while styling so you may find you have less leverage in styling. also the plates sometimes don't line up completely by themselves so make sure to check them before you crimp the hair.

Small crimps
The crimper is good quality, however the crimps are very small, not very deep for some reason, they don't show a great deal on my daughter's long blond hair. She was a bit disappointed and was hoping more for a "after braiding) look.

Great hair crimper
I ordered this hair crimper for my neice for Christmas. She loves it and says it works great.
