Customer Reviews

Works as advertised5
We now have 2 of these as in CA you need this or one of those things that looks like a large tumor on your ear. We have used it around the house as a speakerphone and, of course, in the car. So far no one is able to tell we are using the Jabra if we don't tell them. The sound quality...excellant. Tip: Get the $10-11 charger Amazon offers. A lot of cars will not activate the cigerette lighter unless the car is running. Unless you have a 2 hour trip planned to charge it (you can't use it until fully charged the first time)at $4 plus for petro this would be a bargain.

Does what I need, but a little tricky to learn4
I have been using the Jabra for about 3 months, in anticipation of the California hands-free law. While I like the slim, sleek design, I would prefer a couple of big buttons instead of the single one. It took me a while to learn the difference between the "press" and the "tap", so I was transferring calls to the handset when I meant to hang up. And I never did get the right pressure for answering. I rigged my phone to have the Jabra answer automatically after two rings -- MUCH better and much safer!

The volume is just loud enough with my Samsung phone jacked up to high - I just have to remember to lower the phone volume when I do hand-hold it, or everyone around me hears my caller's voice.

I agree that the battery life is amazing. (I got mine at Costco, and the AC adapter was included.) I like the auto-off feature, as I usually forget to turn it off when I leave the car. I prefer using the visor speakerphone over a headset -- no geek factor, and I have the use of both ears to hear the stereo or conversation in my car, which I don't have when a headset blocks one ear.

The indicator lights could be brighter; in the daytime, they are too small and too dim to be useful. For this level of function, the price is right, though.

Looks Good Performs Bad2
I recieved my Jabra Yesterday, tried about three calls on it. If you drive on the highway don't buy this Item. The volume is very low, and I jacked up the phone volume to the max. I have other bluetooth Items that work very well with my phone, on this the volume is just too low.
