F/2.8 for under $400 is a get away which should usually cost over $1,000. This should be your second lens to get. Your first lens should be 18-55mm lens.

Buy new: Too low to display You need flash, the pop-up flash will never be able to compare to a real flash. More brighter and lighting can be adjust. I prefer 430EX II than 580EX II probably because of the price. If you can afford more, get the 580 EX II. Don't bother with the 220ex or 270ex, because you can't turn left or right degrees.

Buy new: $20.58 / Used from: $23.84 I recommended that you get 8GB SDHC Ultra II, because since your camera has big megapixel, it will probably only take 1000 pictures for every 8GB for high quality. So buy two. And the transfer from the SDHC to computer is pretty fast compare to most SDHC.

Buy new: $98.84 / Used from: $89.00 This should be your 3rd lens to get. Is a cheap price for f/1.8. Perfect for shooting pictures of people and to blur the background. Excellent. As you get more professional, you should buy 50mm f/1.4 for more professional use. This lens is a steal for under $100.

Should be around over 4K in my opinion. Excellent lens.
