Best Charger Ever
I waited to write this review until I had used the product for two weeks. I had planned to order a different charging unit till I saw this one. Prviously I had used a microsoft charger, but I was unhappy with its performance and the constant swapping of batteries. So far I am in love with this unit. Sure, the battery must be attached to the charger, you can't have the headphones plugged in and the lights are bright, but the super quick cgarging time and convenience make it worth it! So far the batteries have lasted through even my longest HALO 3 sessions. I liked it so much I immediately bought another for my buddy and he reports zero issues with his as well.

If you want a new speedy charger look no further. This is the unit you need!

This is an awsome charge base with two charge packs. It is true that you have to use they're charge packs. It is also true that I have not had this charge base too long, but I absolutley love it. It is a great place to store your controller or controllers. The controller fits snugly in the charge base. Also, the lights in front of the charge base light up the color red when the pack is charging. When the pack is charged the light turns green. When the pack is fully charged, the light turns off.
I use my controller for the xbox 360 and the computer. When ever I set the controller down, I usually set it on the base and it continues to charge. Great Product.

My Personal Opinions
Pros: This charge base portion of this product is top quality material hands down. Although I have never owned a product like this before, this is a perfect item to charge and store my controllers. Also, the led's indicating the charge status is a nice addition and the led's themselves also have auto-off features so they don't stay on all the time.

Cons: Only white battery packs becomes a little annoying when you have an awesome special edition Halo-themed, red, green, or any other color controller (like I do) and it looks awesome on the front, but when you turn it around, it has these ugly white battery packs. Also, the battery packs are a little heavier than a pack with 2 AA batteries and also heavier than the rechargeable packs made by Microsoft. This is hardly an annoyance to me though. Another con is that the physical design of the packs is quite ugly; they have this little "w" shape to them if you look at them with the outside of the pack facing up. Again, you don't really look at many of these features since the pack is on the back of the controller, but still. The last thing I have against these packs is that the little mechanism that allows you to take out the pack from the controller is a little tougher than the one on the Microsoft packs.

Other Thoughts: The batteries included also last for a generous amount of time, and although the estimated charge time from Nyko is 25 hours, mine seemed to last no more than 10 without needing to be recharged. To me this is no nuisance, but to others, it may be a deciding factor in purchasing this product.

Also, I am hoping Nyko makes some effort in making different colors for folks like me that have multiple controllers that are not white.
