Very Nice Watch Box
I received my watch box today and I love it. I just came back on line to get a second one!

1. The packaging it arrives in is top notch. It comes in a very heavy outter box and is wrapped in fabric and foam inside the box. Then that outter box was packed in a large shipping box, with plenty of popcorn protecting it. A sticker on the outside of the shipping box warns UPS to be careful with it. Nice presentation...

2. Although the photo shown on this web site makes the interior look tan, it is medium grey. Not even close to the photo color. I would have prefered the tan, but the grey works nicely with the black finish of the wood. And, it clearly states in the item description that the interior is grey.

3. The standard stench that comes from new watch boxes was not too bad with this one. Usually, I have to air out new boxes for a day or two (outside) before I can stand the smell.

4. The box is well made and heavy. No cheap wood or other products here.

5. The LOOK of the box is stunning. Very handsome display. I immediately filled it with watches and it displays the collection nicely.

6. I like that the box has a huge window. I do not like watch boxes that require you to lift them open to see which watches are inside. When you have well over 100 watches, that becomes a pain...

Improvement:

The only thing I would improve with this watch box is the size of the slots. Watches are getting larger and larger these days and box makers need to start making wider slots. I was able to get some of my 47mm Invictas in here, but many were too large. That is not out of the ordinary for watch cases, so I don't hold it against this one. As I already stated, I am buying another one, so I obviously love the one I have. Most of my collection should fit in the slots...

Bottom line:

Great watch box at a great price. And, the shipping was very fast!
