Boldly Sized, Colors Classically Understated
If you want a fashionably large watch that can be worn with jeans or pinstripes and - this is important - is light weight - just 3 ounces of silvery titanium - stop here and click. Watches of this size (42 mm) should be called wristclocks. The predominantly gray background has a dash of yellow and the inset chronometer and second hand dials are black - very nicely coordinated. The overall appearance and faint mechanical sound of the second hand suggests vintage military instrumentation. The watch face is just barely lit in the dark and not easily read at 2 am after a cold bottle of Oyster Bay, Sauvignon Blanc - a mild disappointment. Some watches have no instructions. Some watches have booklets in more languages than the UN. Junkers includes a small fold-out diagram sheet that is so skimpy it's obscure. Also unclear is where the watch can be sent for authorized service. Ah, but my wrist doesn't care about such details!

Great features and value!
I own a few watches of varying price range, some much more expensive than this (Ernst Benz, Fortis). I just received this watch and I love it! Great features, lightweight, looks great, and an outstanding value.

I always worry about metal strap watches pinching my arm hair but this does not. Very comfortable.

This watch comes with a 2-year warranty which is not noted on the product page. Also, the alarm is a nice tone, not annoying, and has an automatic snooze feature.

Also, service from Long Island Watch Co. was outstanding. They answered my questions before ordering and shipping was exactly as promised. They even upgraded me after I forgot to select fast shipping.

If you get over the phoenetic spelling of the brand name, this is a great watch to own!

Beautiful
Understated looks, very well built and unbelievably light. Alarm function is really handy, the mechanical movement of the second hand is charming, only complaint as mentioned is using the watch in the dark, it's very hard to see.

However, easily the best watch I have owned.
