For people who do not wear their automatic or self winding watch every day, or have more than 1, watch winders are available to store automatic watches and keep them wound. This is particularly advantageous if the watch had complex or perpetual calendars or moon phases. A watch winder is a device that can hold watches and moves them in circular patterns to approximate the human motion that otherwise keeps the self-winding mechanism working. An automatic self winding watch should be kept wound and running as much as possible to prevent its lubricants from congealing over time, which diminishes accuracy. This unit winds 4 watches at a time, and runs on included 110V-240V AC adapter, it also provides storage for 6 more watches, exterior is made of wood, interior is lined with soft leatherette and see through window is plexi-glass.
This watch winder has 4 different program settings.
Knob program settings:
1st stop: unit is off.
2nd stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes.
3rd stop: winder will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes.
4th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes then it will rotate counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, rest for 6 minutes.
5th stop: winder will rotate clockwise for 5 minutes then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes. This cycle will repeat continuously for 3 hours then rest for 9 hours.

Noisy Watch Winder
I like the product, however, It began to make a terrible noise about a week after I began using it. I contacted the seller and he told me he would exchange it and send me a Shipping Label, however, I never received it. I would think that a "cross-ship" would have been more appropriate.
The product is beautiful and if it were not for that terrible grinding noise, I would love it.
