Elegance and class for a small price3
Its a nice looking watch, however it does have some annoyances.
I came from an citizen eco-drive, which was great but pricey and scratched easily
It can lose up to 30 seconds a day! It only lasts on a single wind for about 12 hours, so you have to shake it before you go to bed and wear it everyday or it will die.

So if you depend on accurate time and don't want to bother, maybe a battery, eco-drive, or kinetic watch is for you.

However there is something elegant about mechanics of this watch, i use it everyday, but it should be for formal wear.

Wish it wouldn't loose time so much, it actually gained 30 seconds today.

Also setting accurate time can be a pain. The second hand does not stop unless you fiddle turning the crown, its very hard to get it synced with another clock.
Overall if i had to do it again, i would go for a battery/eco drive.

I bought this watch for my dad, and my ten-year-old nephew as their very first Seiko 5. It is incredibly well-made, with everything you need, all the bells & whistles.

Look, if you want to impress someone with a Seiko automatic, especially when it will be their very first, get this one. It is so well-priced, you get much more than what you pay.
