Garmin 7200
My wife and I bought the Garmin 7200 to help us navigate in Canada and the US. We have come here from New Zealand to drive trucks out of Canada and do not know the road networks. We looked at reviews of different models and decided on the Garmin 7200. We are very pleased with our choice as the garmin is accurate with directions, and in use with the Rand McNalley map we are able to move quickly and safely to our destinations.
It has a large screen, which is easy to look at and the volume is adequate in a noisy truck. It has all the features that we require and has been a worthwhile investment.
Garmin 7200 for Christmas.
I received the Garmin 7200 for Christmas and I am very pleased with the functionality and size of the display. Once acquired, the satellites seem to keep constant connection with the GPS unlike the TomTom I had before, which was constantly "searching for satellites".
I wish that this particular GPS had a better way to install the unit on the dash. I prefer to have portability between 2 or 3 vehicles and this is not done easily without having a large bulky mounting bracket left behind in the vehicle you're not using the GPS in. And these additional mounts have to be purchased seperately.
All in all, it is a great GPS and I have seen no issues with it other than the portability issue.
