Briggs & Stratton 020275 Pressure Washer
Documentation states that pump is sealed and lubricated for life. Unit ships with engine oil in a bottle (good idea) and pump oil in the pump with a vented fill cap (bad idea). Pump oil runs out through the vent hole in pump oil fill cap. Unit arrives with pump dry in oil soaked box. So now you need to research what type of oil to put in pump and in what quantity, as documentation does not specify pump oil or pump oil quantity. Documentation also lacks other information such as parts list, exploded parts diagram, high altitude carb jet part number. If you are proceeding in haste, and are not unduly curious about the source of all the oil soaking the box, I assume it is possible to burn up the pump by relying upon the "sealed and lubricated for life" assurance in the manual. Alternatives: Ship unit with pump oil in bottle or Ship unit with non-vented fill cap for pump (to be replaced with vented cap prior to operation).

Briggs & Stratton #020275 Pressure Washer
The pressure washer base and motor appear durable (owned one month). Assembly instructions confusing (refers to engine oil dipstick no longer included). The washer gun is a not as good, wand leaks but customer service is taking care of it (Customer service very good). Overall a good machine.

Dangerous Starting Mechanism
This machine is extremely dangerous, when pulling the chord to start the machine. I almost broke my two fingers due to its recoil system. In fact, I have a black and blue bruise on my chest and left foot from the forceful spring back. Descent machine with a terrible staring mechanism.
