Buy new: $49.98 He got this for his first birthday, but really started playing with it recently. The three leap figures are a great hit. Amazingly enough, he has actually learned many letters and their sounds from this. But it works great as another vehicle to take on many imaginary adventures.

Buy new: $50.91 He loved this when he was around one. As he got older he figured out that if you turn it side ways it can lauch the balls across the room. The balls are soft plastic and light weight so this is safe enough in his playroom. We were able to buy extra balls from the Hasbro website.

Buy new: $29.99 We have the wagon and dump truck along with an extra 200 or so mega bloks. All of them have gotten an amazing amount of use. He loves building houses, towers, and just about everything else you could think of.

Buy new: $32.99 I had told my sister we had plenty of cars and trucks, but she had already bought this for his 2nd birthday. Turns out it is an all time favorite. It is sturdy enough for him to sit in and be pushed around, plus he loves loading in up for trips around the house.

Buy new: $44.99 He got this last Christmas but did not really start playing with it until several months later. Now he rides it all around the house.

 | Fisher-Price Rock, Roll 'N Ride Trike
He got this last Christmas, and it is great. He is really short so right now he still uses with us pushing him, but he is working on learning how to pedal it by himself.

 | Naturally Playful Sand and Water Activity Center
We mostly use this for sand, and he really enjoys it. I am planning on cleaning it out and bringing it inside for winter. The top can serve as a track for cars. I am sure I can find some other uses for it that will work well for inside play.

We have used this inside and out. It is not too big for inside and works great in combo with a pool. He loves sliding into the pool. It has definitly been sturdy enough.

Buy new: $13.43 We did not buy the Melissa and Doug blocks, but similar ones from Wal-mart. These are fun for building, and he is now enjoying identifying letters.

Buy new: $57.80 He got this for Christmas last year, and he still enjoys playing with it. We added pots and pans and food for it. We are buying him a bigger one this year, but will keep this one out in a different part of the house. It has stood up to some rough and tumble play.
