CIPA's auto dimming rear view mirror provides the perfect solution to annoying headlight glare at night. Mirror automatically dims to reduce glare from headlights reflecting in mirror. Sensors on the mirror indicate when bright lights are used and dim the mirror glass for comfort and safety. Additional features include a compass and temperature readout. Temperature can be programmed to display in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Installation requires running a power wire and temperature sensor wire. This kit includes: Mirror Assembly(Includes Compass Pod), Power Wire Harness, Wire Tap, Temperature Sensor, Temperature Sensor Wire Harness, 9 Wire Ties, Operation Card and a Replacement Wedge Button for the Windshield.

Good replacement mirror
I have had the CIPA 36400 auto dimming mirror installed in my car for over a month and have had no problems. The installation was as described in the manual and took about 1 1/2hrs. The dimming feature works great. The temperature and compass is easy to read in the daytime, and dims nicely at night. I would recommend this mirror.

Excellent value on an outstanding item
I had this same rear view mirror in a previous truck and after I traded vehicles I missed it. I didn't realize how much I relied on it's functions. This unit is the exact duplicate of the one that was installed by the auto manufacturer in my previous vehicle, but it was much less cost than going through the dealership. The directions are clear and easy to follow, all the needed parts are included, and the installation went smoothly. It works perfectly. Unless you've had a mirror with this functionality you don't know what your missing. This is an excellent product at the best price I've found.

Great alternative to the OEM Toyota mirror
Same functions as the OEM Toyota mirror for almost $100 less. Easy installation too. Mine is in a 2008 Tacoma which uses the wedge mount as this is.
