The Tamron Autofocus 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 ia a standard zoom lens from a wide 28mm to a medium telephoto range of 80mm. The use of aspherical elements in the front group reduces the number of elements required, and the use of strong engineering plastic in the barrel makes the body a light 237g. Consequently, it is easy to carry. The Tamron AF 75-300 f/4-5.6 extended-range zoom lens offers true telephoto capability ideal for a variety of applications including sports and wildlife shooting. The lens also features the capability to provide beautifully blurred background to high light the main subject in portraiture, or "compression effects" that make the most of the telephoto lens.

Cheap and good4
I purchased this bundled kit for my Rebel XT to see what kind of zoom range I would need and what my daily needs are before purchasing a Canon IS lens. The lenses work surprisingly well for the price. I have had lots of good and clear images. Very light and does the job. I will still keep these lenses with me, especially the 75-300mm lens as my handy backup. I use the 28-80mm as my main lens. There is some searching at AF but I just go to manual when that happens. I don't have a flash yet (more research there :-)) and have been pleased with the shots in low light.

Great product, great price5
I admit I had my eyes on far more expensive lenses, but I had to go with my budget when I ordered these. I couldn't be more pleased. My pictures are clear, the lenses are light, and the bag and lens sheilds are very handy. Also worth noting is the super quick delivery. I had these within three days of ordering! A great purchase.

Great Lens for the Canon Digital Rebel XT5
Great starter lens kit. Do not buy Canon dSLR's with the kit lens, they are junk. Start at this set and work your way up. You will not regret your purchase of these two inexpensive lenses.

The build quality of these lenses are great comparable to the price. If you want the Canon build of a lens, then buy a Canon, if not these lens will last you a very long time.
