A great reason to exercise! - COMFORT!5
I had actually already purchased a bike that was...well...OK. It was a Schwinn comfort bike. I'm not sure why I stopped to look at other bikes but after a single sitting on the Serene Citi, I knew I was going to return the Schwinn. I'm totally thrilled I did. Great seat, smooth gearing and the handlebars allow you to ride upright with no lower back strain. I was able to go much further the first time out than I did with the Schwinn. Should you be a tall woman, please note that I'm 5'10" - this bike fits great!

Very Comfortable Bike5
I am very short (5'1") and bought this bike in the small size. It's a great bike for an after-work ride or weekend exercise. It's durable and well-made, but it's best feature is the smooth ride it provides. This bike is a lot of fun! Riding is effortless.

An awesome, comfortable bike that can really handle bumps, hills and inclines-but still a smooth ride.5
This is my 3rd bike in a year, yes I am particular. AND...It is an awesome ride. Springy seat, 7 gears that change with a flick of the wrist in handlebars, 2 hand brakes. The bike is so phenomenal, that I feel like when I got on it that I was riding in a Caddy or something!:) WE have tons of hills and even worse inclines in our nicely sidewalked neigborhood, but this bike does not even have to go to 1st. I can keep it in 2nd and still make the hills with no problem. It does not have a kickstand, but that does not bother me because when I am not on it, it is in a bike stand at the market, shopping center, or anywhere I ride to. Value is phenomenal! I bought a Schwinn from Target a year ago and only paid 20 dollars less and it was a piece of junk, literally falling apart when I freecycled it. I have riden this bike in a month more than I rode that Schwinn in a year, and it is no worse for the wear. I took it to REI to have them put together and tune it, and they said that it was not the top of the line bike store bike, but it was definitely better than a department store bike, and I agree!!!
