In order to capture the best images possible in a variety of settings, the Digimax A503 comes equipped with a number of scene modes. The seven scene modes supported by the A503 include: Night, Portrait, Landscape, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, and Beach & Snow.

Equipped with 32 MB of built-in flash memory, the Digimax A503 allows users to shoot and save numerous pictures without a memory card. And with PictBridge technology, users can connect the A503 directly to a printer by using the supplied USB cable to output images right from the camera's internal memory or SD card.

With the built-in image editing function of the Digimax A503, shooters can edit a variety of images without the use of a PC. The Trimming function can be used to cut an undesired part of an image and save only the required part. When short of memory, shooters can use the Resizing function to recover some of the memory space, by resizing and saving images in a smaller size. The Rotating function allows users to rotate an image in the desired direction and save it. In addition, the A503 provides a wide variety of bonus functions such as voice memo for adding a short voice message to a picture or voice recording for longer messages.

It's fine
The camera is fine and actually stores pictures a little faster than most digital cameras but I'm returning mine. An optical zoom is so standard on cameras that I didn't even notice that this camera didn't have one. It does have a digital zoom but on this camera, it's useless. If you use the digital zoom at all you loose resolution... and not just a little. The picture is severly compromised. So, if you never ever anticipate the need to zoom, not even a little, it's a decent camera.

A wonderful Camera
I just bought the A503 yesterday,after my Polaroid izone 300 was stolen, and I am amazed. It is a wonderful camera(and a vast change from the izone)! It takes great quality photos and has tons of great features, like the cute little frames, and the different colors. It even does great for nature photos, like flowers, close up. I took a picture of a sunflower, and I could see every single seed in the flower. I am totally amazed with this camera. It is a great buy!

a very good deal
I got a red one from Walmart. Very nice little DC at a very good price. I'm a casual user so I don't expect a fancy one. Samsung Digimax A503 gives you great color pictures with details plus some interesting built-in special effects, which will really put a smile on your face when you see it...^)^ I also love the tiny size so I can put it in my pocket without buying a camera bag. The 2.0" LCD screen is pretty big for the size of camera.

I definitely will give it a 5-star!
