Wow!
I ordered these shoes for my wife while they were on sale and boy are these shoes ever great!

The ratcheting strap is great! It may seem like a feature for the lazy, but it's really not. Say you're getting ready to climb a pretty steep hill, just ratchet it tighter than normal(you can typically get it tighter than you would with laces) and you're ready to go climbing the hill without your feet moving inside your shoe.

Then they have the webbed mesh bottom. This is both a blessing and a curse. The webbed part grips very nicely. We've been able to climb some pretty steep slopes with these shoes! However, I've found that the webbing can break apart and fall off of the shoes.

Lastly, these things hold up very well against water. To test it out, my wife stood in a moving stream with water flowing over the shoes. Her feet and socks stayed dry as could be!

If you're looking for a great pair of shoes for hiking, I highly recommend these! Heck, they're great for all around wearing!
