Interesting lack of substance
I was interested in this book, looking to see how I could incorporate subliminal messaging in with my NLP skills. It is a quick and fun read and it just didn't convince me on the effectiveness of subliminal messages. I know they work, I know how they are used, and I believe there is probably better material out there.

FASCINATING
A really interesting text for those interested in the power of the subconscious mind and in subliminal communication in general. It explains how subliminal self-help cassettes work and how we are constantly bombarded by subliminal messages. Some parts get a bit too technical perhaps, but then again, professionals will find that valuable. It has certainly opened my mind to the disturbing aspects of advertising and the media, as well as to the great promise of self-improvement & healing via subliminal communication. Psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, teachers and holistic/esoteric healers should find this book indispensable.

Important info about Dr. Taylor's own subliminal tapes!
This book gives a very good explanation of the actual subliminal technology and system used to make subliminal tapes. However, after learning of the hidden affirmations Dr. Taylor uses in all of his subliminal materials I have decided to keep the book for my own reference, but toss out my collection of Dr. Taylor's tapes. FYI, The visual subliminal on the cover is the word SEX all around the man's face. Pretty strange to me!
