Perfect
This was my second set of packing cubes - my fiance stole my first set because they are so useful. When traveling, they keep everything separate and can do double duty as laundry bags on the way back. When not traveling, I use them as a sweater box. Very useful.

A must have for any traveler.
I'm on my fifth set of packing cubes, mainly because my friends keep taking mine after I show them how well they work out for traveling. With airline rules basically forcing passengers to pack carry-on bags, it's important to compress your luggage down. For the smallest of packing cubes, I can easily put in 4-5 changes of underwear and socks. The middle sized cube gets shirts and undershirts (rolled, of course). The largest of packing cubes easily accomodates 4 pairs of pants (rolled) and shorts. I can get all 3 full packing cubes into a 22" roller luggage that fits in the overhead bin. When it comes to the return trip, I use the large one as the dirty laundry cube.

The packing cubes are made from first rate material. The zippers (which always seem to fail) have always worked despite me abusing the cubes.

Even if you travel twice a year, they're worth picking up. They save time, aggravation and will make packing, which sucks in general, actually pleasurable.

Best cubes I have used
These work great for kids and adults. My 3 yr old uses a set of 3 mediums in her pilot case, divided just like her clothes at home. I have a set of large and a mixed set of 3. My husband has 3 large. They are very easy to use and keep bags from being a jumble. Highly recommended. I had a set of Rick Steeves cubes but my 5 year old ended up with those because he minds them the least. These are better.
