nice case...just know what you're getting
I love the way this case looks, which is the main reason I purchased it! The interior was a pleasant surprise...it is suede-lined! It includes a suede-covered removable card that, when used, allows the iPod to have a nice, snug fit. But since it's removable, it allows room for you to put a skin on the iPod for extra protection. This is something you may want to consider since the case DID rub the screen a little when I slid the iPod in. (But since this seems to happen with a lot of cases out there, I anticipated this and had the skin on already, which protected it fine and I could rub the mark off the screen protector with my finger.) The cutouts are perfectly aligned with the screen and clickwheel. There is also ample room to reach the hold switch and headphone port. You will, however, have to open the support strap at the bottom to charge it, but that's just one snap. I do not own a dock for my iPod, but I imagine that the thickness of the case will not allow you to dock the iPod with it on, if that information is important to you.
I rated it a 4 and not a 5 because of the following:
The description said it was made from a kimono fabric. Do not be deceived! There is logically no way for a case to hold up from use if it was made from a fabric that is soft and flowing. It's actually more like a canvas fabric with a kimono pattern. This was fine with me because it made the case more rigid. Also, as the description states, it includes a hook for you to attach with a lanyard or keyring. These connectors are not included, so you will have to buy those separately. There is also no way to connect an armband or belt clip, so if those are your requirements, you may want to keep looking.
Overall, it is exactly as described...with the exceptions I listed. If you were like me and wanted a nice looking case that you could clip to your purse or belt loop or drop in your bag, then you'll be happy with it. I hope I was helpful in your search for the perfect case for your iPod!
