The Grey Havens, when Frodo says goodbye to Merry, Pippin, and lastly, Sam.

"Bright Eyes," sure, but mainly the very last scene with Hazel. Stirring music, too.

Such an underappreciated movie. And my god, I'm bawling when the end credits start.

When E.T. dies, I think we all die a little. "I'll believe in you all my life."

Many, many moments, to be sure, but the kicker for me is: And just then, I heard Bubba say something I'll never forget . . . . "I wanna go home."

Sure, he comes back in the next movie, but Spock's death is one of the scenes that elevates Star Trek to a whole new level. And William Shatner gets no respect as an actor (unjustly so), but his eulogy speech is the ultimate testament to his true talents. "Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most . . . . human."

The movie itself is more intellectual fare, and not as emotional as it could and should have been (though it's still very good), but the redemption scene will have you crying right alongside with Robert De Niro.

Again, many moments. But the best (not to mention the key line to the whole movie): "Tell me I'm a good man."

One of the most honest movies ever made. That's the only way I know how to describe it.
