It really works!
I have been a fan of Michael's for four years now. After my first child I started his Six Week Body Makeover and dropped 25 lbs in 12 weeks. I did it again after my second child, and I've started it for a third time after a year of gaining weight due to hypothyroid issues. My husband did it and lost 30 lbs in 8 weeks, and was able to come off his cholesterol medication. There are no gimmicks, no fad pills or shakes to drink. This is simple to learn and do--strength training, mild cardio and a balanced, healthy diet, with TONS of food! Every time I start the program I have trouble eating all the food!
This is a condensed version of his more expensive 6 week body makeover, which I paid $200 for four years ago. It is strict, but it works, and you will not feel deprived with all the food. Anyone can do it, there's no special equipment needed. Give it a try, I promise it works!
Perfect for my needs
I am a 53 year old female. Good genes finally weren't enough, and the draping sagging arms and thighs got so bad that I was doomed to long sleeves and pants. I live in the sun belt - so in desperation i picked up a copy of 12-Day Miracle and the simple exercise tools and started in. that was 2 weeks ago. For me, this is a miracle. There is noticable difference in appearance in my legs, arms and posture. amazing! strength and stamina immediately improved also.
I have not looked at the diet yet, so can't speak to that. It took me the whole 12 days to get the hang of the exercises and counting - all with light weight to get some muscle tone started and the hang of it before moving up a notch in weight. I spend 90 minutes getting through the exercises. (every third day off) but considering the results with light weight and still figuring out what I am doing - this is what I call big bang for the buck! It was fun to find my body type, too.
I just wanted something to get me looking better as quickly as possible, and it isn't surprising that i feel the increased strength so quickly, but i wasn't expecting such fast results on appearance. this is just the motivation i needed to keep me exercising.
Once I get through a month of consistent exercise, then i will see about adding the diet part. I have about 7 extra pounds to lose, so I'll see what I think about his system. If it helps as easily as the body sculpting did - I'll add another review.
great gets results
I did the program for 12 days and stayed on it. It's tough, but works. I lost 8 pounds, 7 inches and could have lost more if I did not cheat (small not big cheats). I have actually gotten to the point I drink 10x16.9 oz bottles of h20 a day. I number the caps and as I drink the bottles, save the lids. Easier to keep track this way. Ground turkey is now my best friend. I've been doing 5-6 cardios plus 3 days of resistance training/week. It's alot of time and work, but am getting results.
