Stila Convertible Color
Stila's Convertible Color dual cheek/lip color provides a creamy but wonderfully sheer wash of color. Although it is marketed as a multi-use product, I use it on my cheeks over my foundation for blush. This product give the skin a natural glow. The product comes in a cute little mirrored mauve colored compact that looks like old-fashioned tooled tin. The color selection is nice. All of the colors are easy to build up for more intensity, from sheer to bold. Forget Me Not is a beautiful, soft berry wine shade. Magnolia is a soft, neutral muted mauve rose with brown tones. Orchid is a purple red shade. Peony is a neutral apricot, brownish pink shade. Petunia is a cool toned deep pink. Poppy is a deeper red wash of color with some brown tones. Lillium is a warm sheer rosy pink shade.
The formula is non-greasy, blends easily and does not sweat off. The color is buildable, so you can increase the intensity from natural to bold. It lasts an average amount of time (4-6 hours) and looks more natural than powder blush.
Fuschia - one hot color!
Usually when it comes to Stila I only use their eye shadows - the other stuff is overpriced, but I wanted to try the convertible color for a while now and I am glad I finally got one. I purchased the Fuschia compact and yes it looks absolutely wild when one looks at it, but smoothed on lips or cheeks it's a lovely cool pink, a bit on the purple side. It seems to work well with my light coloring and I love to use it as blush although it's a tiny bit sticky and initially rubbing it in take a little bit of skill.
On the lips I like to dab some on after I pat them with some foundation, so the pink really pops and then I add a coat of clear gloss. Little goes a long way or one can appear to have been sucking on a raspberry bush all day...
I wish it was longer lasting, it doesn't stay on all day but it's easy to add a few layers, they build up nicely and touchups through the day are relatively easy. Today for example I have been wearing it on my cheeks since 8;20 am and 8 hours later the color is paler but still appears fresh. I love how the compact looks, it's different than on the picture here on Amazon, mine is a hot pink metal all over but it's still small and slim with a mirror inside so a separate mirror is not needed.
I am tempted to try the other colors since I am enjoying this one so much!

Ps. Online the color is called Fuchsia but the bottom of my compact says Fuschia, so I am sticking to what's on the item itself.
Love the Fuschia !
