Customer Reviews

Excellent! It is what it calls itself, a great "Intro to EVP"4
Great packaging, including the little booklet. Nice intro speeches from Leif Elggren and Raymond Cass.

Disappointing content? Only if you are looking for a Halloween effects soundtrack.

EVP is not about gathering scary voices to listen to in the dark. It's about collecting data, sometimes over the span of long, tedious hours, harvesting those intriguing clips from among the hours of static, emptiness, and hiss. Here the experts have done the harvesting for you. If you are at least curious about EVP, and not necessarily inclined to spend some hours surfing all the paranormal Internet sites out there to find and gather interesting EVP sample clips yourself, this CD is a great introduction to the subject matter.

It is a bonus that it also includes recordings collected by some of the true leaders and pioneers in the field, which makes this package of historical importance to those with a more serious interest in the field as well.

interesting, but...3
not as intriguing as i expected.
many phrases only vaguely resemble what they're alleged to be.

still, interesting listen (albeit a one-time only listen).

guess i wanted to be scared more..
