Customer Reviews

Love Jeff- but not the CD1
Jeff Dunham is a constant as an entertainment option in our household and we have seen Jeff with his friends live twice. The CD though, less than entertaining as it shows the difficulty of keeping voices in character and singing. Jingle Bombs is the best on the CD- which everyone can watch somewhere else while the rest of the CD's adult humor doesn't work for kids and even less for adults. I bought as a combo purchase with The Christmas DVD or I wouldn't have gotten it at all.
Again, LOVE Jeff- not the CD.

I love Jeff Dunham's act, but...1
I have his last 3 DVD's, and no matter how many times I've seen them, I can't stop laughing every time that I watch them. This CD, however, is a different matter. As far as the content of the songs, they are what they are, like them or not. It's the voices that seem way off - I can't tell you how many times I had to look at the CD case to tell who was supposed to be singing. The voices, which are consistent from DVD to DVD, seem to all sound alike on the CD. The seem to blend together, and it detracts from the songs in a big way. When you watch the DVDs, if Jeff's with one of his characters, it almost seems like there are 2 (or 3) individual people on stage having a conversation, not 1 person speaking for 2 (or 3) of them. On the CD, they all just kind of sound like Jeff Dunham, not his individual characters. It seems like it was quickly put together to make a buck, rather than perfecting the voices to match those that we know and love. I wasted my money on this one...

Hopefully a great prelude to the DvD coming out soon4
I think each of the characters effectively sings a song with their personalities in mind about what christmas means to them or something related to the holiday. I didn't care much for Sweet Daddy Dee's songs once I took the time to listen to the words which is why I rated it with 4 stars but other people (men) may like them, I just wasn't one of those people. However, I liked the rest of the songs on the CD alot. My favorite is "Song for Jeff" by Peanut which in the end seems more like "Song about Me" by Peanut at the end. LoL. A close second for me would be "Jingle Bombs" by Achmed. Followed by both of Bubba J's songs "Santa is a Redneck" and "Roadkill Christmas." Jose was good too ^_^. I think the CD will be listened to around my house for many Christmas's to come. I even sent my mom a copy and she loved it too! I can't wait until the DvD featuring Jeff Dunham's christmas special comes out on November 14th and hope this will tide me over until then. Keep the great stuff coming Jeff!
