A great medium size diaper bag - fits up to 4 bottles, change of clothes, a few board books and toys, changing pad, snacks. Easy to attach to the stroller and in a DH friendly dark blue denim. Good for quick outings, but you'll probably want a bigger bag if you have more than 2 children under 3 and will be out for longer than a few hours.

Breast feeding pillow, and you can use it later to support a sitting infant. Also great for tummy time. I prefered the easy on-off of a Boppy to the more cumbersome Brest Friend.

Similar (but not quite as good) to Pottery Barn Kids chamois covers in quality and softness. Includes an absorbant top pad for messy diaper changes.

Use your regular kitchen garbage bags. More environmentally friendly than other bags which wrap diapers individually, too. Use baking soda to further control odor.

When baby outgrows the Bjorn, try an Ellaroo Mei Hip carrier. Very comfortable and dark brown solid with buckle straps (not ties) is not too "girly" for men to wear.

A great investment, can use until baby reaches 29 lbs (unlike other bouncers). No lights, no sounds, just gentle rocking created by your baby. Soothing for baby and parents alike.

Start with slow flow, go with silicone over the smelly latex ones.

Need more sleep? Try swaddling, it always calmed my son in a matter of minutes. He was sleeping for 6 hour stretches at 1 month thanks to the Miracle Blanket!

For winter nights, we preferred the warmth of thick cotton over the Halo fleece sacks.

Good for summer/spring swaddling - lightweight and breathable. Also makes a great nursing cover or shade for stroller naps.

Great breastfeeding pillow for travel (or use at the hospital). Includes detachable lumbar support pillow. I liked the detachable lumbar support over the "life support raft" design of the Brest Friend. Includes handy pump.

Warm wipes helped facilitate more peaceful diaper changes in the middle of winter. I thought this was a luxury product, but it was more a necessity in our chilly drafty home.
