These swaddle blankets are awesome. They even work in the car seat. In the first few weeks at home, our baby spent a lot of time swaddled and she loved it. By three months, most babies are done with swaddling, so don't bother getting these in larger sizes.

My baby loves to sit in this and swat at the toys. This seat is great for awake times when the baby is content but doesn't want to be lying down and I don't want to put her in the swing.

An aunt bought us this travel swing and it has been so useful. We have a two-story house and use this one upstairs and leave the big Fisher-Price Aquarium Cradle Swing downstairs. It has also been great when we have gone to visit relatives with the baby.

If you plan to breastfeed, you will need soothing gel patches more than you can even imagine.

This cleared up our baby's diaper rash instantly, but we got it in a tube, not this big tub, which seems unsanitary.

This comes along in the car and the stroller with us. The Velcro loop at the top allows us to attach it to the car seat handle.

These are some of the only socks that actually stay on all day.

If you get the Soothies pacifier, you have to get this pacifier holder. Regular ones don't work with the Soothies.

We absolutely needed a second car seat base. It has a leveler.

We first had the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System, but I was more than happy to give it back to my step-sister. This stroller is a universal frame for infant car seat carriers. We use it with the Britax Companion. The stroller is so light and easy to use. It is also much more compact so you aren't struggling to get into doorways and around shopping aisles.

Links are great. You can hook them onto anything and you can hook anything onto them, like other toys. Since they are bright, they are fun to look at even by themselves. We have one set of links in use on the baby's activity mat to help lower the toys to be within her grasp. We have another set on her car seat for playtime in the car.
