General evaluation on Seven Things4
1. Is this an in depth presentation?

Even though this is a small book, the scope is also very specific. Not all of the seven steps are covered in an equal amount of detail. For some only a page or three is reserved whereas others are covered in quite a lot of detail.

2. Did I agree with the way that the author interprets scripture?

I really liked the way Kenneth Hagin starts off in the book. He begins by quoting from Matthew 18:16 where it says that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established. He then goes on to prove that Jesus took up our illnesses and weaknesses by quoting three different texts in the bible. This really opened my eyes and stirred up my faith to believe that Jesus indeed paid the price to have our sicknesses and iniquities removed.
Throughout the book it is clear that Rev. Hagin has done an in depth study on the subject of divine healing. He is an authority. To read the bible as Rev. Hagin does is to read it with the eyes of faith. His interpretation will challenge any complacent Christian and be a beacon of hope for those in need of a divine touch.

3. Was there any new information?

This book is full of very useful information. Of all the author's I've read Rev. Hagin's stands out as one that is very logically consistent and demystifying. I really appreciated the way that he covered Chapter's 4, 5 and 7. Even though the information was not entirely new, it was presented in such a way that certain doubts about divine healing was cleared away.
In Chapter 4 Rev. Hagin discusses various methods of how God has provided divine healing for the church. He says that the best way to receive divine healing is by one's faith, but God loves all his children and has made provision for the babies and the spiritually immature.

The different methods are as follows:
1. Demanding in the Name of Jesus that the sickness leave.
2. Pray for healing to the Father in the Name of Jesus.
3. Stand in agreement with someone for healing on the basis of Matthew 18:19.
4. Anointing the sick with oil on the basis of James 5:14-15.
5. Receiving of healing by the laying on of hands.
6. Receive healings through the gifts of healings.
7. Know that healing belongs to you (healing is the bread of the children).

In Chapter 5 Rev. Hagin explains the difference between healing initiated by a person's own faith and healing initiated by God himself. This was such a helpful Chapter. It teaches that more often than not, God wants us to press through to healing by our own faith. This means that when you are not healed at a healing crusade, God has not rejected you, but wants you to use your own faith to receive the healing.
In Chapter 7 Rev. Hagin teaches that God's healing is of a spiritual nature (being based on faith) and therefore it can be lost.

4. What impact did the book have on me?
This book has inspired me to use my own faith to receive healing. Praise God for giving us something to touch him with!

Be healed in the name of JESUS!5
I love this book! Brother Hagin is an anointed man of God, and I enjoy reading his material. Praise God for material like this that ministers to people who read it and apply it to their lives. In this book, Brother Hagin gives EVERY way that a person was healed in the bible, whether it be by the laying on of hands, or anointing them with oil, or just speaking forth the word. The collaborate organized material on the study of divine healing is in connection with the word of God, and after reading this you may be inspired to seek for "Gifts of Healing" mentioned in the 12th chapter of 1 Corinthians. God bless all who will read this book and apply it!

Is Healing For All?3
This is short book by Kenneth Hagin on divine healing from a Word-Faith perspective. In the book Hagin seeks to examine many popular Scriptures on healing such as Exodus 15:29; Psalm 103:1-3; Psalm 107:20; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; and 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

Hagin's premise is that divine healing is a promise for all. Just as one receives salvation by grace through faith and this is for all then so is divine healing since (as Hagin believes) healing is in the atonement. If people are not healed then it is not God's fault but our own.

However this can lead to some legalistic and often dangerous teachings. If healing doesn't come then often the person becomes wrapped up in perfection, confession of sin and the Word (positive confession) and doubt creeps into their minds and undermines their faith in a sovereign God.

Does God heal today? Yes! Does God promise to heal all? No! For a complete treatment of healing see the following books:
