Caren Goldman, author of Healing Words For The Body,Mind And Spirit: 101 Words to Inspire and Affirm, regularly contributes to Spirituality and Health and other national magazines. She is an associate editor of Bible Workbench, does conflict resolution consulting with congregations and non-profits, and leads seminars and retreats nationwide. She lives in Massachusetts. William Dols, an Episcopal priest, has his PhD in biblical studies and psychology from Graduate Theological Union and University of California Berkeley. He is the author of Just Because It Didn't Happen: Sermons and Prayers As Story, creator and editor of the Bible Workbench, an acclaimed preacher, and a popular retreat and seminar leader. He lives in Virginia.

What Bill Dols and Caren Goldman have done with the stories of Jesus' ministry are nothing short of liberating. What Jesus said, what he envisioned as the Kingdom of God, how those around him experienced him--all these are released from the dogma that often imprisons them. The lens through which we have seen Jesus becomes kaleidoscopic as the texts come to new life in the thoughtful reflections of the writers.
