Perfect for Spare Tires!
Bought it to lock up my under-truck spare, as my last one was stolen in broad daylight. Has enough length to loop around tire winch frame under my 4Runner and safely lock through the wheel without leaving a bunch of extra slack hanging down. The cover over the lock cylinder is perfect for this application. Keeps it clean when I'm offroad. Chain is very heavy; weighs in at about 8 lbs. All hardened square links so it should be very hard for someone to cut through.

It's tough to find good chain locks under $50, but I think this one is pretty solid. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another for my $1400 mountain bike or motorcycle.

Great chain lock. Bought this for my bike and I am really impressed by the built of it. It's a pretty solid and heavy duty chain,just the right length, at a very reasonable price. In fact I would believe, it's the cheapest in it's category. No complaints what so ever. I was really confused about the kind of lock to get for my bike, so if you have any similar ambivalence, just go ahead and try this one. I bet you won't be disappointed.
