Create your own beautiful butterfly canopy with yards and yards of tulle, fabric flowers, mini butterflies, sparkle paint and rhinestones. The perfect companion to our popular Butterfly Bedroom kit. Large purple butterfly expands to approximately 21" x 15". Includes 32 yards of canopy fabric - wow! These pink, yellow and blue streamers measure 18 inches by 8 feet each. So easy to do! Gather the ends of the fabric; place the streamers between the butterfly legs; a quick twist of the wire and you are good to go. Decorate your butterfly with 3 tubes of sparkle paint. Use the same paint to attach the flowers, and rhinestones to the canopy. Mini butterflies include delicate floral wire. Just push the wire through the streamers, and twist to hold them in place. Use the silver hanging hook, fishing line and foam adhesive squares for quick and easy installation.

Please dry butterfly
When they say the glue takes hours to dry, they should be more specific about how many hours it takes. We waited over 6 or more for some of the thicker areas. The glitter glue pens are hard to use once they become less than half full and they are small to begin with, so that does not take long. Its a cute idea and a good price, but if you do not have a patient child, this project will become more difficult that its intented to.

Beautiful...at a reasonable price!!
I bought this canopy for my daughter's room and she LOVES it. It is VERY reasonable priced compared to most canopies. If you like to do craft projects this is for you. I did decorate it for my daughter (she's only 3), so I could see it being difficut for younger children. the pens are small and do not have enough glitter. I didn't have a problem with the drying time though. I decorated the butterfly at night and glued the gems then too, and it was ready for assembly in the morning. I am going to get some of the coordinating items to finish off her room.
