Perfect for for telecom and electrical technicians
I really appreciate this design. It is deep, heavy-duty locks and separate bins in place, filters, F connectors, etc. The lid is a crystal clear, the snap closures will definitely hold the lid shut, the aluminum handle is very strong and not like the plastic handles.

Quality storage container
Very nice. It is too bad Stanley has decided to discontinue making this line. It seems like most containers now are thin flimsy plastic, this one will definetly stand the test of time

Great mid sized parts or lots of smaller ones
This case is like the Stanley Consumer Storage 014725R 25 Removable Compartment Professional Organizer as it is a box of boxes. This is a superior design to the fixed or variable compartments with dividers as I frequently use a lot of the same part or a couple of parts and I can remove the boxes I need and put them on the work bench without taking up tons of room.

This is a large sturdy case with lots of capacity. The description says it has 3 sizes of compartments, IT HAS TWO SIZES! There are two large 6 3/8x 4 1/4 and 12 smaller 4 1/2x 3 1/8 all are 3 1/2 deep.

The handle is aluminum as are the catches which are quite stiff. I had to grind off a little of the plastic case so I could work the catches.

The one real annoyance is a plastic logo "FAT MAX" on the front. When I took it on site one of the guys is Max and yes he is fat so he acted offended and everyone had a good time ribbing me and him.

The compartments are large enough that you could label them if needed. No weight capacity is given but I suspect it exceeds what most of us can carry at all comfortably.
