The New Fein MultiMaster E-Cut combo kit used exclusively on the Fein Multimaster, the original in oscillation tools from a company with over 150 years of experience in power tools. This kit gives you the diversity that the homeowner or professional need when they are not sure what blade they need. The New kit consists of a 127 E-Cut blade used for quick cuts on door jambs, or floor boards when you are sure you are only cutting wood. The 133 E-Cut blade for precise cuts on wood or mouldings. Lastly the 152 E-Cut blade for cutting wood and up to 20 gauge sheet metal this blade gives you the ease of mind when you are not sure what is behind that wood or when a moulding or door jamb is riddled with finishing nails, this the blade for the job. Fein is the first power tool company in the world and invented the electric power tool in 1895.

Customer Reviews

Best of a poor lot4
I bought this after trying the Porter Cable detail sander and returning it on their satisfaction guaranteed offer. Enough said.

This product comes on a card with little to no instructions. Not that it takes rocket science to figure it out. But for some odd reason putting the head on at certain angles it wants to unscrew itself as soon as I turn the machine on.

The sandpaper is cloth backed 55mm x 75mm. It holds up well and stays put with the spring clips. I intend to start replacing it with a 3" belt sander belt that I trim off in 55mm lengths. Then I can get the quality and grits that I want.

About the only problem I've had is if the head jumps out of the area, you end up with some nasty pigtails. There are also a limited number of profiles and they don't seem to correspond with common US profiles (e.g., 3/8" cove).

Despite my negative comments, it does work fairly well and I'd probably buy it again knowing what I know now.

not a suitable tool for this application2
This tool is absolutely fabulous for doing the few things you will need it for, but and this is a BIG but (pun alert!) the replacement blades are VERY expensive--no joke, check the prices. The profile sanding attachment doesn't work worth a darn. Because of the rotary-vibratory motion of tool, the ends of the little piece of sandpaper do all the work and the center does nothing.

Disappointed With the Profile Kit1
I own numerous accessories to my Fein Multimaster and the Profile Kit is the only one that I am unhappy with. The sanding paper is difficult to secure properly and frequently comes loose during sanding operations. I have reached a point where I no longer even try to use it because of the difficulty of use and poor performance while using it.
