![]() | DEWALT DW716 15 Amp 12-Inch Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw
Buy new: $399.00 Great for me because I also have a Hitachi 10-inch slide, but if you don't have both, I recommend getting a sliding 12 for any professional.
![]() | Hitachi C10FSH 10-Inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser
Buy new: $399.99 I actually have a slightly older version of this tool, but they're functionally the same. This saw is great, but has a few flaws. Like any 10inch saw, its not great for crown molding or big base. Also, the bevel gauge is pretty lousy, so you have to use an angle finder or a T-bevel to set any bevel besides 0 and 45 degress either way.

![]() | DEWALT DW745 Heavy Duty 10-Inch Compact Job Site Table Saw with 16 Inch Max Rip Capacity
Buy new: $399.99 / Used from: $378.99 Pretty good saw, great power, but a little too small. Should have spent a little more money and gotten the dw744. OEM blade is a joke, get a freud one or better.
![]() | Milwaukee 6523-21 Super Sawzall 13 Amp Reciprocating Saw with Rotating Handle
Buy new: $159.00 An absolute beast. I recommend it very highly. Spinning handle is suprisingly nice luxury. Tons and tons of power.
![]() | Skil HD77 13 Amp 7-1/4-Inch Worm Drive Saw
Buy new: $189.99 I actually have a much older version of this saw, a handmedown from my dad. The most rugged tool i've ever had. Accidentally ran it for a year or so with no oil in it, still runs flawlessly. Tons of power. Pretty heavy, but worth it in my opinion. 35 years old and still running strong
![]() | Bosch 1677MD 15 Amp 7-1/4-Inch Wormdrive Construction Saw with Direct Connect
Buy new: $130.49 Way way way better than the Skil one I have, although far too early to tell in the durability department (about two weeks of use for this saw, 35 years for the skil 77. This saw is so light its unbelievable
![]() | Porter-Cable FR350A Round Head 2-Inch to 3-1/2-Inch Framing Nailer
Buy new: $192.25 Very decent nailgun. Reliable, never jams. Has some minor irritating features, which are very hard to explain quickly in words. The long and the short of it is that I world recommend the Rigid framing nailer (suprisingly good) or the Senco instead of this one. The Bostitch one is worthless however.
![]() | BOSTITCH N62FN-1 15 GA FINISH NAILER
Buy used from: $99.99 Not very good. Jams all the time. Get the Hitachi or senco. Theres a reason those are the most expensive, and its becasue they are the best.
![]() | Senco FinishPro 18 18 Gauge Sequential Brad Nailer with Case
Buy new: $89.99 Great gun, much better that the bostitch I replaced. Not as many features as hitachi, but after my previous experience I just want the legendary reliability
![]() | Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/BT200K-2 5/8-to-2-Inch 18-Gauge Brad Nailer
Buy new: $36.08 Garbage. Jams all the time. Get Hitachi or Senco if you are a pro and need your gun to work consistently.
![]() | Bosch 11241EVS 1-9/16-Inch 11 Amp SDS-Max Combination Hammer
Buy new: $501.99 / Used from: $390.00 Damages and slaughters all masonry except concrete, for which you need a real breaking hammer. Cuts big holes in a hurry. Bits are very expensive.
![]() | Bosch 11224VSRKR 7/8-Inch SDS Rotary Hammer
Buy new: $199.00 / Used from: $180.99 Very solid tool, will take care of you as long as you aren't looking to do anything bigger than occassional foundation bolts and rebar. Not much use for breaking concrete, except in the most limited capacity. Works well for breaking lighter masonry, like brick or cinderblock. Works great for me.
![]() | Milwaukee 48-89-1105 1/16-to-1/2-Inch Titanium Coated Twist Drill Bit Assortment in Plastic Index, 20-Piece
Buy new: $21.79 Good value. Not the absolute best bits, but good in wood and tolerable through metal up to 16 gauge or so. The price is right.
![]() | DEWALT DC011 Combination Worksite Radio and 7.2-Volt to 18-Volt Pod Style Battery Charger

![]() | DEWALT DW960K-2 Heavy-Duty 3/8-Inch 18-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Right Angle Drill
Buy new: $185.00 very useful. I definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't need an actual hole hawg. Will push a 1-inch twist bit through a stud or two, and fits in some awkward places. I wish they made an angle impact driver.
![]() | Dogyu 745-2060 280mm Cat's Paw

![]() | Roughneck 70-305 Four-Piece Gorilla Bar
Buy new: $61.00 / Used from: $52.99 The best crowbars I've ever used. I love them. Worth the expense. Hook end angle is mor than 90 degrees, so you can actually get under things.
![]() | Stanley 47-480L 100 FatMax Xtreme Chalk Box
Buy new: $11.90 Garbage. If you are a professional, bite the bullet and buy a tajima line.
![]() | Freud D0724X Diablo 7-1/4-Inch 24 Tooth ATB Carbide Framing Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch and Diamond Knockout Arbor
Buy new: $9.97 Not a very good blade. Very thin kerf is nice, but blade structure is very weak, blade bends in cuts, leads to lots of binding. get bosch blades.
![]() | Bosch SB5013P Rapid Feed 13-Piece 1/4-Inch to 1-1/2-Inch Spade Drill Bit Assortment with Nylon Storage Pouch
Buy new: $24.95 A great buy for anyone. The self-feeding tip actually works, which suprised me, and they're very agressive cutting. The steel is very high quality, even if you run into a few nails the bit won't dull much, although it wont cut through them like a true self-feed bit would. Definitely worth the money.
![]() | Irwin 14-6LN Vise Grip 2-1/4-Inch Jaw Capacity 6-Inch Long Nose Plier
Buy new: $7.95 A great little tool to keep in your bags. Pull nails, bend things around, and obviously, a much stronger grip than your hand.
