About the Author
Inspired by his father and legendary grandfather, Max is a 3rd generation pool player who devoted himself to becoming a great player when he was only 12 years old. Originally from Dover, Ohio, Max began to spend most of his spare time on the pool table developing and perfecting his skills. Max is a former Junior National Champion, 2-time National Collegiate Champion, 2005 West Coast Champion, top 5 U.S. ranked pro 2 years straight, and a semi-finalist in the 2006 World Straight Pool Championship. He has traveled the globe competing, giving exhibitions, and teaching. Max Eberle currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

It's almost all mental...
It is said that pool is mostly mental, and I have certainly found it to be that way. That's why I value this book so highly. Some of the stuff in here is timeless, and will be a big help in your game, if you take the time to practice what it teaches.

Zen Pool: For more than just pool players
Zen Pool is powerful and inspirational. Max Eberle is a positive spirit and a force to be reckoned with in the pool world. I enjoyed the book and look forward to more from Max.

Must have for pro and am...
Guess I got one of the first copies when this came out. I've known Max since he was twelve. In fact just spoke to him on the phone in Las Vagas and he won his first round match in the Predator 10 ball championship yesterday (May 11, '09)...using methods detailed in 'Zen Pool', naturally. He wishes he'd brought a bigger supply of books with him because he has sold out completely to his fellow pros who are using it and getting better. Amateurs will enjoy and benefit greatly from this little gem. Pros must have it just to keep pace with the competition. Highly recommend.
