Every writer can benefit from reading their favorite author's thoughts on writing. Stephen King is right up there for me--and it helps that his writing memoir is just excellently written.

Writer's Digest puts some great resources out for writers--and some bad ones. This is one of the better books, with the best and most helpful articles from the Writer's Digest magazine.

This kit is the official NaNo kit, but it's not quite on the same level as others. Though, it at least matches NaNo perfectly and some neat motivational pieces.

For all the technical details, refer to Oxford. This excellent book can answer grammar and style.

When, finally, your novel is written and edited...then comes the painful trial of trying to find someone who wants to publish it. Like the book above, this is a valuable resource.
