A problem
I received this as a Christmas gift. It is great except for one problem. The inside chain is so long it leaves a gap large enough for the birds to go inside the feeder. With my old feeder one time I forgot to close the filling lid and two birds died inside the feeder. I emailed World Factory Inc. asking how to correct the problem but after a week have not heard from them.

I hope one of you can tell me how to correct the problem.

Bad Design
The holes in this bird feeder have a metal rim with a frame that attaches to the inside the feeder, forming a sort of trap. I came home from work yesterday to find a bird with its head caught inside the feeder, unable to escape. It did not survive. I wanted to feed birds, not kill them.

this feeder kills birds
I had no problems with this feeder for a while ( except for 2 of the circular pieces where the birds feed, fell out), then recently, I have had 2 dead birds trapped at the feeder within a week of each other. Two different species of bird - this feeder should be recalled - the birds heads get stuck inside and then the birds die!!!!!!!!!!
