Chemical smell, doesn't clean top
Application was easy and the product really does stick well to the side of the toilet bowl. I have had no problems with it coming off when it shouldn't. You get one tube filled with product. Basically you force a sticky gel out by measured amounts controlled by the tube (a button will click into place to stop extra gel from getting out), and you have six applications per tube. They advertise each application as being enough to cover 7 days.

The cap to seal the tube while in between applications didn't seem secure enough for my taste. It also lightly presses against the gel that is still contained in the tube so some product gets lost when you peel back the cap again to open because it sticks to the cap, so it can't be used to put on the toilet.

There is a very obvious chemical smell that is a little more powerful than expected and can be overwhelming.

It does not serve much purpose in helping to clean near the top of the bowl where water does not usually cover, which is where I could use a cleaning effect the most. It dumps chemical straight down when water is flushed into the main bowl and will get swirled around to clean the toilet portion that is touched by the main pool of water. If you want cleaning solution to go over near the top of the bowl (where water doesn't usually sit, but things can get "splashed" up to) as water comes out during flushing, you may want to stick with toilet cleaners that you stick in the toilet water reservoir thing in the back.

Ode to Oder
I bought this product because I liked the concept. The applicator was very easy to put together and, after a few seconds of trial and error, it was easy to get the gel in the toilet bowl. . . no muss no fuss. Unfortunately, this wasn't as much a cleaning agent as it was an air-freshener type of product. I live in a small condo with a small bathroom and, in just a matter of minutes, my entire home was blanketed in the heavy fragrance. I tried shutting the bathroom door hoping that the scent would eventually lessen, but it just kept growing stronger eventually waking me up in the middle of the night. I didn't wait to find out if it actually kept the bowl clean or how long the gel lasted - I crawled out of bed and scraped it off the bowl and flushed it. The good news for me was that the gel disintegrated in the water fairly quickly and the smell finally started to dissipate once the product was gone. The rest of the product has been thrown in the trash and I won't be buying it again.

Cleans well, but unusable due to odor
We've had this product in action in two of our bathrooms for a few days now. It seems to do a decent job of keeping the toilet clean but it unfortunately smells atrocious. The smell is also VERY strong, to the point that we feel unable to continue using it. I'm guessing we will end up throwing away the remainder of the gel. I cannot wait until it wears off and our bathroom stops stinking.

If they made this in an unscented or made the smell about 100 times less potent it would probably be a fine product, but the smell really is a show stopper, it's that bad.
