Customer Reviews
Warning - dont be mislead like I was
WARNING!!! This Item is NOT 100% cotton. This is a cotton (60%) and Polyester (40%) blend!!! The title was misleading. I did not catch it before buying. When the product arrived it stated it on the package. The product's title on the web says it is Egyptian Cotton but it fails to mention the 40% Chinese Synthetic threads in the title. In addition, it took about 5 days longer to arrive than promised. This was sooo cheap for a 100% cotton item I was suspect of it to begin with. I failed to discover the 40% poly because the Amazon page is so confusing to read. Oh well. It is for a guest bed in a vacation house so I am no THAT concerned with it, but if it was for my daily use I would have returned it. Buyer beware that it is not 100% cotton.
So beautiful!
I bought a white duvet cover because I loved my white down comforter, but my dog was constantly getting it dirty, and after getting it cleaned for $80 each time, I decide it was time to invest in a duvet cover so I could just throw it in a washer. This is absolutely beautiful, in addition to being so, so soft.
The only slight thing that could be a problem is it is a tiny bit see-through. No problem to me, considering my original comforter was white, but just thought that might not be true for everyone.
almost impossible to place comforter inside duvet
There is a very small slit in the middle of the duvet cover. There are no ties and no other openings. It is almost impossible to push quilt inside the duvet. It took two very tall, strong people a whole lot of time to do that and the quilt still isn't very well placed because of that tiny, tiny opening. I will use it since it is finally covering the down comforter. Then I will replace it with a normal duvet.
If you do need to use the duvet just keep folding the comforter over and over until it is small enough to go inside the duvet slit and then begin the shaking, pushing, etc.
