Wow!
I have been waiting for this book since I heard it was to be published. I had seen Christopher's work and loved it so feared I might be disappointed in the book. After all, how can one convey the same visuals as on a video. Well, it has been done. The pillows are stunning and the instructions very clear. Definitely a book worth the wait. I plan to get started tomorrow.

Not for the traditionalist
Hello, this is Christopher Nejman and I want to tell you that if you are looking to learn new contemporary techniques in felting/punching then my book will give you much to learn from. My book is not for the traditionalist. I teach you how to "punch" fancy fabrics vers felting wool roving.
I wrote this book and used pillows as a canvas so I could cover so many techniques for you to learn from. You can make tote bags and other creative projects with the ideas from my book. A true embellishing technique book.

This book is about using a felting machine in a non traditional way with a method I developed called "Punching". Using fancy fabrics to give new dimension to textiles. It is also about "themed" art. These pillows are not to lay on or throw around, they are for display as art work. Like quilters make wall art to hang on the wall not to lay on.

It is a book about modern techniques and ideas and pillows were my canvas.

A suggestion to all critics and buyers, always go to the authors website to see photos of their work to know if what you are buying is what you are looking for. Research will save a lot of time and find exactly what you are looking for if you buy on line compared to seeing a book in person at a store.
