Customer Reviews
Does It Get Any Better Than This?
I've had these for only a few hours use. I don't know what other people are talking about for a break-in period because these headphones sound fine across the audible range right out of the box. These headphones reveal detail that other headphones just don't. The sound is realistic with excellent imaging. I listen primarily to classical music and these Sony 7506's maximize the quality of the recording coming as close to a live performance of almost any set of speakers or headphones that I've ever owned. The only headphones that come close are Sony's 700 DJ Headphones with deeper bass and greater sensitivity. My only reservation about the 700 DJ Headphones is durability. The Sony 7506's might also be a tad more realistic in sound. To me the 7506's are reference for sound. So I have to ask "Does It Get Any Better Than This?"
EDIT: I've been blowing Sony's horn pretty loud and you know what? I'm going to blow it a little louder. I have now since obtained the Sennheiser Pro HD 280's and Sony has nothing to worry about. See my review of this product for more information on Amazon.
Simply the best!
I've used many different headphones over the years, but this one stands out for comfort, 8-10 hours a day without pressure point discomfort. The sound quality is also better than my more exspensive headphones. This is the only model I'd recommend or buy.
Good Choice for the HomeStudio plus much more!!
These headphones are superb. I upgraded from some "noname" brand that where sold at our local music store. the detail level in both bass and treble are fantastic. I really enjoy working with these for a lengthy time and i dont have to turn up so loud since they are sealed very good! I dont feel they are as "airy" sounding as some senheiser's that i've had, BUT for me thats a good thing.
as an added bonus: they are easily powered by my Macbook or iPod ;-)
buy them if your serious about mixing recording listening or anything else regarding music!
