Customer Reviews

Looks great, easy to set up!5
I purchased this stand almost 6 months ago and it has held my two 20" Samsung monitors perfectly since then. This has turned out to be the smartest technology purchase that I have made in quite a while, through my new Documate 252 scanner ranks a close second.

Today, a client was in my office and immediately commented on my two monitor setup. As I did a quick overview of the advantages to a two monitor setup, his only comment was on how "cool" it looked. The Ergtron is very solid, holds the monitors perfectly, but as my client stated looks very cool.

If you have decided on a two monitor setup, I highly recommend the Ergotron.

Great product for the price5
Very stable stand. Sturdy construction.
Supports my 22" widescreens with room to spare.
The depth of the base was a bit dissapointing as it meant losing some desk space, but it's obviously necessary to balance the weight of the monitors. (Their combined weight was suprising.)
The monitor mounting brackets allow for minor horizontal angle adjustment only - no vertical tilt - however, this can be overcome by placing shims between the monitor and the mounting plate.
I use these in my home project studio and being able lower my (video) monitors to nearly flush with my desktop allows me to place near-field (audio) monitors above them at ear level.

This monitor stand performs well5
I mounted two ViewSonic VX922's on this monitor stand, and it holds them in near-perfect physical alignment. It's also easy to assemble, and easy to mount/unmount monitors because they're each attached to the stand with a single knob that doesn't require any tools to tighten.

I truly appreciate the fact that the DS100 performs well in these areas, because I own another monitor stand that doesn't (I also own a MOView MVTMS triple monitor stand). I would recommend the DS100, and consequently, I bought a DS100 for my wife, and I plan to buy a triple monitor version of the DS100 next.
