The title track – featuring Dorinda Clark-Cole – along with "Imagine Me" are classic examples of how Franklin balances the hard realities of real life against the hard faith about which he so readily sings.

One is hard pressed to not remember the Love Unlimited Orchestra when hearing "Looking for You" and the 70s references are reinforced with Stevie Wonder's guest appearance on "Why." The latter track is classic Franklin as he challenges every Christian to stop worrying about building churches and start building people. It also includes a delightful harmonica touch at the end from the great Stevie Wonder. At 20 songs and more than an hour, Hero might seem overwhelming. This CD is such a blessing!!!
I absolutely loved this CD. Every song was so powerful and inspirational. The song Better was the favorite because it says "...Count it all joy and always remember, life will get better it's gonna get better...No matter the weapon it will not prosper, things will get better it's gonna get better..." This is so true about life and everything that come along with it!!! I hope this information helps you tremendously in choosing this product. Get ready to get blessed and have a praise and dance party all at the same time!!!

This album is fantastic. I use it often when at the Juvenile Detention center to minister to the young people that in God they can find hope for a better tomorrow.
