Customer Reviews

This CD is Shockingly AWESOME!!!5
I assume this is the Murrills' first CD. I am so delighted with this work. Like Mary Mary, The Singetons, Kirk Franklin, William Murphy, there is MUCH substance on this project. The entire project is excellent (not just a song or two). I look forward to their future projects expecting more of the same. This family is truly a Blessed talent. Live long and prosper Murrills.

Gifted, Intelligent and Creative4
To quote the Winans' cover from this project, "It's been a long time comin," but "Family Prayer" was well worth the wait! Not since my Tye Tribbett Period (not over by a long shot) have I been so satisfied and blessed by a music CD.

The songs are amazing and powerful; the arrangements are inspired; the lyrics are intelligent; the vocals are a joy to hear. These brothers and this sister having been trained to sing together since childhood, the Murrills' voices blend like butter and sugar into a delightful icing of praise, worship, and testimony spread generously over their familial relationship and their several relationships with the Lord.

My only disappointment was the sound of Donald Lawrence's voice, which I found jarring and annoying. As far as the relationship between the Murrills and Mr. Lawrence is concerned, gratitude is certainly appropriate here, but I should think that Mr. Lawrence's respect (and reciprocal gratitude) for this family would forestall his inappropriate intrusion into this particular creation.

I can hardly wait for the next collaboration of these siblings!
