The Master Director Is Back!!5
Album is OFF THE CHAIN!!! STRAIGHT CHOIR MUSIC. "Bless His Holy Name" is my favorite song...next song for my choir easily! Now who is this lady on "One More Chance," SHE IS "KILLING IT"!!! Not since "Jesus Can Work It Out" and "Let Us All Go Back," has a song leader so straight "LACED A SONG." I PROMISE YOU, that is one of the top 3 leads ever sung on an up-tempo song. Her name is Lillian Lloyd - much props Woman of God. I PRAY they have a DVD, I know somebody tried to throw a shoe or something at her!! If you don't believe me - check YouTube, I know its on there! OK OK "Our Father You Are Holy" is so sweet. That's my Top 3 on an album that was worth the wait. Now if I could've just found James Hall's!!! I went to 3 Walmart's, Target, Circuit City, and finally found the only copy of this CD in a Best Buy 45 min away from where I live!! And "NO STORE" had James Hall's release. BTW - Why is the "Gospel" music section always so small?!?!? Bless you all!

Pop Gospel, or Gospel Pop?1
I am about to step on many toes but today's gospel music sounds too much like the the secular music of the day. This is very hard to put into words, but this gospel to me is no more than pop, or hip hop with a changing of the words.

Purchasing new gospel music has for me been very difficult, in that the musical arrangements are to coin a phrase, "Too Worldly," for my taste. Now I know many embrace the sound, and think it is fantastic, but I always thought there should be a difference in worship music, and todays pop. Alas though there is not. At the same time I can see why, though these artists may be sincere in their convictions, the music is out of sorts. Is the goal money, or praise?

This CD is so WONDERFUL!!5
I really love this Cd. If you like Ricky Dillard you will love this one. I'm not sure why someone would say that this Ricky Dillard CD sounds secular, because he is the only one to me that is keeping the gospel choir alive. His choir is uniform, no one seems greater than the other. This is a great CD, enjoy!!
