Blue Ray Player
The BlueRay technology, introduced 2007, is the latest development of optical data storage technologies.

This technology has its name from the blue-violet type of laser it uses. Its color is caused by the shorter wavelength of the laser that allows to minimize the size of pits and lands on the disc.

A double layer Blue Ray disc can store up to fifty gigabyte, which is over five times the size of a dual layer DVD and more than seventy times the size of a CD. The increasing amount of data that is processed in the twenty first century demands storage device with hight capacity.

In home entertainment sector as well as in professional sector the DVD will soon be replaced by the more advanced technology.
