Editorial Reviews

Album Description
Winner: Rock Blues Album of the Year/Blues Foundation Awards.

Winner: Best Blues Album Award/Independent Music Awards.

As always, Jeff Healey's repertoire here is as wide as the Mississippi--you'll find some Chicago classics, some old R&B, a taste of psychedelia, and some pop classics from a bygone era including "Teach Your Children Well," "Come Together," and his biggest hit, "Angel Eyes."

Jeff Healey was arguably one of the most distinctive guitar players of our time. He has sold millions of hard blues/rock recordings but is equally at ease playing the infectious, joyful pop music of the '20s and '30s.

Billboard
"Before his untimely death in March, Canadian blues guitarist Jeff Healey had been quite involved in jazz via band the Jazz Wizards (he played trumpet and clarinet). But he tracked this blues-rock CD in late 2007, and it's an outstanding farewell ... It's a genuine pleasure to hear Healey's fluid, incisive lead guitar again, and his bandmates are rock solid."

STL Blues
"Originally intended to be a blues/rock tribute to his fans who loved that aspect of Jeff's music, this CD instead ended up being a posthumous tribute to Jeff Healey himself, as he passed away about a month prior to its scheduled release date ... If you're a fan of Healey's blues/rock guitar styling from the 1990s you won't be disappointed by this CD. There's loads of high-speed, scorching, overdriven, heavy guitar work here, the kind of which made Jeff's reputation years ago." --

GREAT ALBUM5
I love Jeff's music. It was such a loss when he died of cancer. This is his best (in my opinion) album ever even though it s a posthumous release. It exhibits his brilliance on the guitar and flair for live performance.

Just the first three songs make this one worth buying. I've always liked the live versions (when the sound quality is good) of songs better than the studio versions and this is no exception. His rendition of Robert Johnson's Breaking Down blues is absolutely brilliant.
