Product Description

We might think of tapioca pearls as the "soul" of a bubble tea drink: without it, bubble tea does not seem to be bubble tea. With these premium tapioca pearls, you always get the right chewiness and texture.

Customer Reviews

Wish they were packaged smaller5
After ordering a Bubble Tea in CT restaurant, I was anxious to try this at home. They were just as good. The only drawback is making them is a bit time-consuming, since they must be heated/boiled, then allowed time to cool before adding to the tea. They also come in large bags and I feel like a lot of them go to waste unless you use them often or try placing them in smaller bags and storing (unsure if they would retain freshness). They tasts great and have that addictive chewy texture. Will try storing them differently, perhaps in freezer to extend life of extra.

Delightful Texture5
Boil 1/2 hour, let sit 1/2 hour, then rinse - this is the simple recipe for a wonderfully chewy and gooey treat known as Boba. I have been putting mine in hot chocolate and eating it with a spoon, like a chocolate soup. Since the balls themselves are rather flavorless (unless sugar is mixed into the water during soak), they will never clash with anything, so don't be afraid to experiment!

These are just Okay3
I bought a really big bag of these tapioca pearls, not realizing the weight was in kilograms, not pounds. The tapioca pearls are quick to cook, but I found them to be a bit gooey in texture. I prefer the firmer texture of the "pre-cooked" tapioca pearls, as opposed to these, but not too bad.
